You've seen the mission and believe in our unique approach and process of rapid skill adoption that enables young adults to participate in the economy at a higher level. How can you get involved in order to help a young adult master the soft and hard skills necessary to rise above poverty?

HOW YOU
CAN HELP

BECOME A MENTOR

By scheduling short, one-on-one skill practice sessions with a student that will allow the student to “trade up” skills by learning from your experience.

BECOME A TEACHER ASSISTANT

We keep overhead low by utilizing volunteers to help administer classes. You will work directly with a teacher to prepare for upcoming classes and other events.

BE A TRANSPORTATION HELPER

Sometimes students just need a ride. If you have the time and a reliable car, giving someone a ride to classes can make the difference.

Because we are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, your cash donations are likely deductible (consult a tax professional). Sometimes a few bucks put in the right place can make all the difference.

MATERIALS DONATION

Because our transdisciplinary methodology requires authentic projects used to facilitate hands-on learning, we would love donations of materials that we commonly use to build sheds and other projects such as saw horses or dog houses.

TYPICAL MATERIAL NEEDS

• Units of kiln dried 2x4x8’, 2x6x12’
• 7/16” OSB or plywood
• T25 3” outdoor screws
• Wood glue
• Asphalt roofing in qty.’s above 10 sq’s
• Lap siding in qty.’s above 10 sq’s
• Weather Resistant Barrier (Tyvek, Fortifiber, or similar)

Part of our long-term objective to be self-reliant as a company involves teaching students how to remodel and work on houses. Many of our students want to learn how to flip a house so they can obtain long-term wealth. This process is best learned by doing. We would love to receive donations in the form of real estate, with or without buildings, in any condition. We can turn the donation into authentic projects by remodeling or by developing the real estate to accept a building lot. Regardless, we hope to be able to turn the donation into a revenue stream of cash and authentic projects that will allow us to be self-sustaining and keep our services free to our students.

Supporting a student is a great way to invest in our community and in the life of a young person who is training to be self-reliant. This support can come in a variety of formats.
